The Puy-de-Dôme departmental council launches its health bus!

A multipurpose health bus with multiple actions

Thanks to our strong experience in this field, we have designed and manufactured this unique custom-made maternal and child protection mobile unit. Based on a Renault Truck 19T undercarriage, the vehicle is perfectly adapted to the road network of the department, which is sometimes snow-covered in winter.

It includes :

• A large reception room with a play area for children equipped with a screen to broadcast recreational content,
• A medical office with a gynecological examination chair and a pediatric couch,
• A childcare center,
• A rest room with a kitchenette,
• And toilets.

This very complete layout was made possible by the addition of a large extension drawer on the left side of the truck. Thanks to its hydraulic control, its implementation requires only a few minutes for each installation when traveling between the rural municipalities of the department.

Of course, we have worked particularly on the aesthetic and ergonomic aspect of this health bus, but also on the protection of young children, such as the installation of anti-finger trap doors, rounded corners on the furniture, door handles outside of their reach...

Without forgetting access for all thanks to a loading tailgate allowing the reception of people with reduced mobility in optimal conditions.
