BASILIADE asked us to design, manufacture and fit out a mobile solution, in addition to their numerous reception centres.
Thanks to this mobile tool, BASILIADE's Perinatal Precariousness Mobile Health Team can easily travel to offer medical, social and psychological assistance and reach out to pregnant women and young mothers in precarious situations in and around Paris.
This health bus marks an important step in BASILIADE's mission to provide support and assistance, bringing care as close as possible to those who need it most.
A mobile gynaecology unit
Built on a Renault Master E-Tech, this mobile medical unit is made up of several areas:
- A medical consultation area for pregnancy monitoring, closed by a curtain to protect women's privacy
- A storage area, with fourniture for medical equipment and for those dedicated to the ‘child development’ function, as well as a water point
- A medical interview area, providing a place where women can ask their questions and discuss their concerns
It also offers a range of comfort features such as :
- a reversible air conditioning, to ensure a pleasant temperature whatever the outside weather conditions
- an awning installed above the access door, guaranteeing a shaded area for sitting outside
- a chemical toilet, improving the comfort of the health team
What's more, every feature of the vehicle has been designed and manufactured to provide ergonomics, practicality and well-being for users.

Built on a Renault Master E-Tech, the mobile medical unit is self-sufficient in energy, both in terms of the vehicle's motorization and the practice's power supply.

This electric solution makes it possible to use the health bus in cities classified as Low Emission Zones.
