Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health entrusted Toutenkamion with the conception and manufacturing of 10 mobile mammography units on semitrailer.
Theses ones, with non-standard dimensions - 2.75 m wide by 13 m long - were mass-produced in barely 10 months.
They will help increasing breast cancer screening for the entire Saudi female population by reaching out to them.
Each mobile unit includes a large waiting room - accommodating up to 7 patients - with a reception, a pre-examination room, a changing room, a leaded radiology room including an X-ray protected area dedicated to the operator, and a comfortable rest room for the medical team with a toilet.
They are all equipped with an innovative and high-performance Fujifilm high-end mammography solution - the Amulet Innovality series - installed in record time at our Ladon site.
Thanks to its high-capacity water network and powerful generator, these mobile units allow medical users/teams to work for several days in complete autonomy with rural populations far from large urban centres.
A great achievement of a project initiated just one year ago and which has benefited from the support and financing solution (supplier credit) proposed by Bpifrance.
