Breast cancer :
- represents 1/3 of all new cases of cancer affecting women,
- is the leading cause of cancer-related death for women.
Therefore, in 2020, our customer decided to acquire a mammography unit to reach out to women and detect this cancer at an early stage.
After a successful launch, our customer pursues its commitment by ordering, in 2023, a second mammobile for the Flensburg region, which is facing medical desertification.
Based on feedback from the previous model, this second breast cancer screening truck has benefited from a number of improvements to offer a mobile solution even better adapted to screening needs. Approximately 7m² larger, with revised layouts, this latest unit is even closer to a traditional radiology practice. Launched on May 21, 2024, it offers a complete, functional environment for high-quality mammography examinations close to the field.
Reliable, versatile mobile radiology unit to improve screening program cover in Germany
This mobile mammography clinic stands out for its high reliability. Designed to operate independently, it can be deployed quickly and easily, even in the most remote areas with low medical density. Its mobility enables it to get closer to the population, facilitating access to breast cancer screening for a greater number of women.
As a valuable prevention tool, the mammography unit is an ideal solution for improving the cover and effectiveness of prevention and early detection programs. The latest-generation unit complies with the new rules for welcoming screened women, offering a soothing and reassuring examination environment. As a result, it helps to remove psychological barriers and encourage greater participation by women in screening campaigns.
